For this project, my team and I were given a problem within the medical community in our area and were encouraged to propose a solution that would meet the needs of our client. Our team's focus was on improving documentation and control of medications in perioperative and procedural care setting. Throughout the project, we developed a deeper understanding of the current process used to track medication, were able to propose a process for improving documentation and control of medication use, and demonstrated the effectiveness of our proposed solution.
